Why The Hell Are We Tying Ourselves to $Shib

Why The Hell Are We Tying Ourselves To $Shib

May 4th, 2022

It came about April of 2021, with a group of old friends, and a bottle of Jefferson’s Ocean. We were discussing the latest crypto trends when Capri mentioned the infamous Doge coin and groaning about cashing out early (little did she know JUST how early she cashed out)… This lead to Dominus piping in about some new coin rising in the ranks called Shiba Inu that is supposed to be the “Doge Killer”. The bulk of the conversation revolved around the tokenomics of it, and where investors are placing their bets in the industry these days. The night concluded, no one jumped on the $Shib bandwagon at the time, just didn’t make sense to, after all it was just another meme coin.

Then it happened. Within weeks of that conversation this “meme” coin skyrocketed. Multi-millionaires were made almost over night. News articles were coming out left and right, people were speculating, and it seemed to be on the tongues of everyone along the streets. Then just like clockwork, that rocket ship that made a few people a lot of quick money, nose dived, those multi-millionaires were cashing out and the crypto industry as a whole was about to enter a short bear market. $Shib took a bigger hit days later when Vitalik Buterin sent his donation of $Shib to the India Covid Relief Fund. At this moment, most investors began selling out of fear, but not Dominus, he takes the Warren Buffet quote, “Be greedy when others are fearful” to heart. He saw this move as giving $Shib credibility from a well known industry expert, Vitalik. In his eyes, this donation transformed $Shib overnight from just a meme coin, to a charity coin (i.e. a coin with a purpose). Without hesitating Dominus jumped head first into $Shib and never looked back.

To some, the anonymity of the $Shib developers is a weakness, but to us, this has been a great testament to what we, Pixelated Society, is trying to achieve. Re-training society into looking at the words and actions of individuals instead of jumping to an opinion based on their appearance. This is why we do not feel it is important to reveal who we are, we want our actions and words to be the reason you trust us and not the face behind it.

As we have been developing the characteristics to what Pixelated Society is about, $Shib has grown stronger, the community has stuck by its side and grown immensely, and most importantly, the developers have done everything they stated they would do. Have there been a few hiccups along the way (i.e. delays), yes, but to us, these are to be expected in this new industry. We have watched and listened as the developers in Discord, Twitter, and the different AMA’s have spoken about the future of $Shib. This has lead us to believe the best path to insure passive income for our investors is through $Shib. Are we naive enough to think that it couldn’t all come crashing down? No, we are well aware of the risks associated with all things crypto (just ask Ragnar). But we are willing to take that risk.

Are you willing to risk it with us?
